Blaine started her career with Lopez Law Group, PLLC as a summer clerk during the Summer of 2019. After graduating from Baylor Law School, she joined Lopez Law Group as an Associate. Due to her impressive advocacy and attention to detail, she was quickly promoted to Senior Associate.
While working at Lopez Law Group, Blaine has represented clients in personal injury and construction cases. Blaine also defends real estate professionals for suits involving residential homes and Texas Real Estate Commission claims. While representing real estate clients, Blaine has written multiple summary judgment motions that have resulted in the granting of summary judgment, settlement for nominal damages, and multiple releases of claims.
Blaine represents homeowners in various issues, including evictions and undisclosed flooding issues. Blaine has successfully evicted a hold-over tenant in Harris County, including winning an award for back rent and attorneys fees.
Currently, Blaine is licensed to practice in Texas State Court, the Southern District of Texas, and the Western District of Texas.
Blaine graduated from Baylor Law School cum laude in May of 2020. While in school, she competed in four Moot Court Competitions, including winning first place in the E. Earle Zemher National Moot Court Competition, making it to the semi-finals in the Jeffery G. Miller National Environmental Law Competition, and making it to the finals in the Texas Young Lawyers Association State Moot Court competition. Blaine has already argued in front of sitting Texas Court Appeals Judges and the Texas Supreme Court while competing in the TYLA Moot Court competition. Blaine also represented Baylor Law students in Student Bar Association all three years. Blaine graduated from Texas Tech University cum laude in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
When she's not working, Blaine spends time with her husband and her lab.
