Shannon Phipps

Shannon Phipps joined Lopez Law Group as an Associate Attorney in the Fall of 2026 after earning her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in the Fall of 2026 and passing the July 2026 bar exam.

Before joining the firm, Shannon gained valuable experience through a judicial internship with the 190th Judicial District Court of Harris County and work at law firms handling both plaintiff and defense litigation. These experiences provided her with a well-rounded perspective and a strong foundation in civil litigation.

Prior to law school, Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana. During college, she was actively involved in community service, volunteering at a special education school and nursing homes throughout New Orleans. 

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys trying new baking recipes, exploring Houston’s restaurant scene, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
