Matt has over a decade of experience working on complex cases. Prior to joining Lopez Litigation Group in 2024, Matt worked as an Enforcement Attorney with the State Securities Board, investigating and litigating complex fraud cases. He has extensive experience preparing cases for trial and has tried numerous cases to jury verdict.

Matt received a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law and B.S.B.A from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business. 

Outside of his litigation practice, Matt serves on the charity committee for Night Court, a Houston-based nonprofit that has raised and distributed over $1,000,000 to Houston-area organizations that provide free legal services. He also serves on the board of Pride Chorus Houston, one of the nation's oldest and largest LGBTQ+ choruses.
